This device would have been so much better if it worked on my GS6. It only worked on my GS4. Luckily i still had it. For folks who get rid of their older phones this may have been a problem. This is the ONLY show in town for those not connected to the Internet. Some cellular providers offer unlimited free streaming to your cell. However, if you wish to project that onto a larger screen while NOT ALSO connected to the internet, then you need Miracast.... Chromecast will NOT help you. If your phone is Miracast enabled and you enjoy traveling in an RV, then this will get you television as long as you can get a cell signal.... no internet required. I was told by Vizio that I could not wirelessly connect from my Surface Pro 3 to their newest 32" 1080p TV. I contacted Microsoft and I said I thought the adapter should make the tv recognizable to the laptop and they agreed.
