Just the job
Provided a perfect solution to my problem. I wanted to grease a power hedge cutter attachment. This involves removing an M6 bolt and filling the hole with grease. The obvious way is to replace the bolt with a grease nipple but I didn't want to put grease in under pressure as the seals are not made for it. This was a great solution. As others have said, it is a substantial device and it was too thick to go in the hole but the end is chamfered so it simply presses against the hole. Full insertion would be better but I am still very happy with the device. It would have got five stars if it had been a little slimmer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Much bigger than you think
There is no way this should be described as a fine needle. The needle is about 7mm diameter and about 15cm long. This is a very sturdy and well made piece of equipment that is probably designed for heavy machinery. It has a grease nipple at one end which will fit in any standard grease gun and gives a very fine bead of grease ( 1mm thick) out the pointed end. I needed a needle about 2mm diameter and I discovered that a needle inflator such as used in rugby and footballs with a standard adapter will fit into a grease gun and do the job I required.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well built but its too large
Beware although the opening for the grease is tiny, and would lay down very narrow bead of grease, similar to that coming out of a medical needles, the actual bore of the shaft of the needle is not far off the size of a biro! I needed something that could get through and into a much narrower gap, hence i returned it. otherwise well built, but not suitable for my needs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
