Nice product - shame abouth the manual
The pressure cooker is well made, and easy to use for an experienced pressure cooker user. The sides remain cool enough to touch, even after half an hour at high pressure, and it is virtually silent in operation. The steam release button set away from the actual steam release point and the 'cool' touch sides make it very safe to use, even in kitchens where curious little fingers are exploring mum's worktop. It even has a gutter round the top to catch drips from the lid when it is opened. The only point to be aware of is that if you have wall cupboards above a worktop then you will need about 80 cm clearance to fully open the lid.
The heavily insulated sides make this a very efficient device and natural cool down takes a considerable time, during which the contents continue to cook.
Sadly the atrocious 'instruction manual' does little more than badly describe pressure cooking and rice cooking, and then list the other functions rather than describe how to use them. There is no recipe book, and you will have to trawl the internet. Fortunately there are numerous on-line pressure cooking books and web-sites.
If you are an experienced user then this is a worthy addition to your kitchen, and takes the place of many other machines. You can even bake cakes and make yoghurt in it. But if you are a first time user then expect a little trial and error before you get perfect results.
The device is described in all sales literature (here and elsewhere) as 900 watt, but it is clearly labelled as 1000watt.
