Rugged & Practical Protection
Exactly what I needed to protect my MacBookPro while traveling by commercial airliner, so as to prevent damage from others stuffing their luggage in the overhead bins. The MacBookPro is so slim, compared to conventional laptops, that there was excessive space and subsequently excessive freedom of movement in the Pelican case. To remedy the matter, I purchased a highly padded MacBookPro computer sleeve and placed the MacBookPro in the sleeve to take up the extra space. Other reviews stated that the backpack was heavy. Despite its considerable weight, due to the excellent design of the straps and back, this backpack is very convenient even with a heavy load (I loaded it up to 13kg). The presence of multiple compartments allows you to distribute things according to the degree of need for quick access. This is easily the best backpack ever built.
I guess between inflation and supply chains being what they are, pelican stopped making these. Mine got stolen, and I was really glad to find a replacement. Absolutely recommend it. Built for a lifetime.
