Not so stuff.
The pegs are what they are, though when being used on hard ground they just arnt good enough. Three already bent beyond further use with one plastic piece broken. Unless these types of pegs are hardened and tempered they will struggle to penetrate hard ground used on campsites.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Strong, sturdy, easy to use
Bought these after recent very high winds and before our next camping trip. So glad I did! Our campsite ground was pretty stony, but these pegs made quick work of the hard ground, and were surprisingly easy to remove afterward. Strong Storm pegs
Used these insted of my normal srew in type (which need a ratchet spanner, battery drill). Now although these are straight they worked very well on my last camping trip to the Yorkshire moorland. So glad I bought these. Camping in a very dry, stony New Forest, normal pegs bent almost straight away, put these in the same hole and just tapped them in. Good strong Awning pegs
This is the second set I have bought, all my caravan awning pegs are now Blue Diamond Heavy Duty pegs. They are strong, very difficult to bend and come in a good hard plastic box. Great for pegging into grass or gravel hardstanding pitches, just the right length although I do use longer pegs for the monsoon straps.
