Easy to use and quick to brew
I have been experimenting with different coffees and beans to determine ratios and tastes; brewing with the machine the tastes are more mild vs the french press. I have only had it for two weeks and, for the moment, continue for it to "wash out" the filter/machine taste in the water. The manuel says that the filter should be changed after 60 brews. So far I have brewed about 15 times and the taste persists...I am hoping this will fade soon. Even though it has lots of parts, it is easy to use and wash. I am in general happy with my purshase and hope to continue "growng into it". It is perfect for a one/two person coffee lover user.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Coffee machine
I purchased this product with good intentions and when I received it read all the instructions went to the market and bought a small bag of coffee beans like the book said. Rinsed machine let it dry, and put beans into grinder per book let put eater in it ground and pressed but grinder started and quit. The best Single Brew Coffee Maker ever!
I love this Coffee Maker. I have owned one for about 5 years now, and it brews a perfect single cup of coffee...not like the weak coffee that you get from the Kurig Pod coffee makers. I wanted another one as a back-up for when mine fails and could not find one anywhere. Thrilled that I found this one. Replacement for Broken One
I really like this because of the quality of the coffee (strength), the built-in coffee grinder, and the fact you can brew either ground or whole bean. It is kind of a pain to clean, but I have a routine and it works. It is for one cup at a time brewing. It isn’t for everyone, but it grinds & brews a really delicious cup of coffee. Coffee Good/Cleanup Bad
Great idea to have a single serve fresh ground cup of coffee. Made that cup. Easy and good taste. Whoa, cleanup is ridiculous. So many parts to clean and why would moisture be in the grinding containment. If I want a second cup the grounds stick in the grinding containment and don't get to the filter. Saving lots of beans and $$$
We always used our larger Cuisinart grind and brew but so often we tossed coffee. I really hated to do that! So this little machine has almost paid for itself in just a short time. Yes, it does take a little time to clean but so does the larger one. I put everything in the night before and all I have to do is turn it on the next morning. Love that first big cup of coffee. A hint - if you want a little more coffee add some water to the unit, put your cup under, turn off the grinder, turn on the machine and run the water through the existing grounds. Great coffee, a bit of a pain to clean

I would recommend NOT purchasing this coffee maker. I thought it would work out fine, but alas! A waste of money.
After only ten uses, the coffee maker only makes hot water, and not coffee. Cleaning the whole set up is very involved and doesn't actually work. There are spots that perhaps you thought you cleaned, but turns out it was loaded with coffee grinds.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
