I would buy again if necessary.
IT WORKS - 6 in a pack - baited two at first, first night caught two. Second night caught 1 and despite leaving four more baited until now no more mice. What a relief, although I did feel rather guilty when I saw how cute they looked. My home is surrounded by fields and every winter we have the same problem but thanks to the efficiency of these traps I think this year we have been able to "nip it in the bud" with very little effort. Looks good...but trip release unreliable
These look just like some others I have but there the similarity ends. The traps don’t always release when the trap plate is pressed. Therefore it’s hit and miss whether the mouse gets caught. It may be that the plate is flimsy (it bends rather than bring stiff) or that the release mechanism is poor. After a mouse scurried between my feet in my garage, I cursed the thought of having lost or dumped some mouse traps that lay unused for over a decade. These arrived and after some fiddling to set them up and make sure the triggers were working, I baited them with peanut butter, set and waited until the late evening to check the garage. Two out of the six traps set had already proven their use. It takes a little while figuring out the set up in terms of ensuring the trigger is set (I’m used to old school), but you’ll get there. Bit hit & miss.
As with a number of other reviewers I found these traps to be a bit hit & miss. Caught a couple of mice with them but more often than not the bait (nutella) was completely taken but the trap didn't spring....perhaps I've got very light mice?!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
