I have used blackout lining before when lining curtains and I was very pleased with this. The lining is soft and flexible and doesn't feel too plasticky on the reverse. The grey colour is a subtle silver colour with a slight sheen, which was perfect for my needs, and matched the main curtain fabric. This is much nicer than some more expensive blackout linings that I have used previously, which have felt less soft. I would definitely buy this lining again.

This and some velcro provide compete black out for a window. Get sticky velcro for the frame and sew on velcro for the material. It's great. Much cheaper and more effective than a black out blind.

Used material to make blinds for the roof of my conservatory to keep the heat out during the summer and warmth in during the winter which works really well. Nice material and easy to work with.
