Top quality polish machine.
Used the polisher twice now, both to work out swirls and scratches but also for top coat waxing. Found the machine to be very good quality, easy to use and ergonomic. A little heavy but once you use it you get used to the weight. The range of pads were very useful and good quality, they should last some time. 2 things I would have liked with the machine are: 1 A bag to store it all in. 2 For the machine to start in the slowest setting (you need to quickly reduce the speed to help spread the polish). I am a newbie to car polishing machines. I have neither had a cheaper nor a more expensive one than this, so I looked at reviews. This machine is very easy to use, with a good variation of speeds, giving good results. I have only used it for polishing/waxing, never used it yet for compounds/restoration of colour. Orbital Polisher
The polisher is good for the money and works ok but the backing plate that comes with the 5 sponges don't fit as its for the threaded type and not the type that is held on with an Allen key, and you don't seem to be able to buy smaller backing plates that fit this machine, the torq22D 5" that will fit but you would have to trim a couple of mm off the plastic at the back of the machine at the back of where the backing plate fits to the machine, So if you need a new or different sizes of backing plate your going to struggle , but if you do find some backing plates please do share ThanksVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Been looking at a DA polisher for a while, but wasn't prepared to pay £100's for one. Settled on this due to price, and machine set up. Used it this morning with the new 3M compound and Purple polishing pad, and it worked just as well as any other more expensive would. Looking for a DA that does the job? Buy this. This is in my opinion one of the best polisher You can buy for the price. It's as good as if not better than £400-£600 polisher I've used in the 20+ years I've been cutting and polishing vehicles. Really good value. Does surprisingly good job for affordable product. Units motor sounds not as smooth as should, but comes with spare set of brushes ( comparing to my Boch/ makita angle grinders etc) time will tell on longevity.
