Family toilet seat
In the next step of potty training our toddler this seemed like a winner; good news, it was! It is a bit pricey in my opinion but it does the job. The materials are obviously good quality and assembly and fitting couldn’t be simpler. The quick release mechanism is a real boon for keeping the toilet basin and underside of the seat clean. It’s not an exact match for shape but frankly that’s my problem and not a fault of the toilet seat. The only thing that loses this seat ( other than the price) is the soft close, or lack there of on the lid. The two seats are soft close but not the lid therefore if you close the seats and lid together, they cushion its movement otherwise, closing the lid can, and especially with a toddler in control, will be loud. I would recommend if you too are trying to switch your child from the potty to the toilet.

Ok but expensive for quality
Got this as we have a standard shaped one on our downstairs toilet by a different manufacturer but for a D shape there is limited choice. On arrival it looked OK, the toilet cover part of the seat isnt soft close which isnt too much of a problem however the kids very rarely put the kid part down by itself rendering it fairly pointless (the weight of the lid means it bangs still). ait has a weird quick release on the hinges to attach to the toilet, not sure why and these seem to just make the toilet seat move more. It will do for while we are training but unlike our downstairs one it will be coming off as soon as it can

Great value.
Bought at around £35, the only D shaped family seat I could find. Seat is well made, comfortable, and easy to fit. Soft close on child seat is very slow, and there is no soft close on the top cover (which you would think was the important one!) Would definitely recommend for families.

It’s not often a toilet seat will make you smile!
Absolutely cracking, it comes with both kinds of connectors, the normal one and the weird top mounted annoying type mine is. Great quality and easy to fit. The first two seats are soft close, the lid isn’t, but no biggie... the child will learn pretty quickly not to slam it! The quick release is brilliant, makes it a doddle to clean.

Lid not soft close, seat doesn't stay up.
The toilet seat and toddler seat are both soft close but the lid is not. When all three are closed at the same time it slams down. My toddler has gotten fingers under the lid while closing multiple times. I don't understand why the lid isn't soft close as well. The bottom actual toilet seat doesn't stay up all the way so my husband isn't happy about that. It's basically a lose lose situation for everyone involved. I'm not happy with this seat but it's the only D Shape seat I could find. If you're going to make a product to fill a need in the market, at least do it well.

Solid and well made but room for improvement
Relatively easy to fit. The materials seem to be good quality and so the seat feel solid underneath me. My only gripe is that the toddler seat and lid do not close quietly and need a bit more damping. Overall a great seat in D shape.

Good enough quality for the price
Only a couple of issues. 1. I can't keep all the seats in an up right position, I can the lid and the child seat but the main seat won't stay up and keeps falling. 2. It would be nice if all were study close too. Other than that it's a good enough quality and was easy to install.

Installed well but lid seems a bit weak
I installed the product relatively easily. The instructions are clear enough. The instructions say that the toilet lid is not designed to take weight and should not be stood on. The lid is not soft close as described and the child seat soft close mechanism is not strong enough to prevent the lid from banging shut. The first evening of it being installed the lid was closed and I was drying myself off after a bath. I put my foot on the lid, leant into it and the lid broke loudly. So now I have a broken toilet lid. As someone else noted, D-shaped family toilet seats are hard to find but I have found one other (more expensive) and am expecting that to arrive today. It has the more typical design for family toilet seats whereby the child seat is smaller and sits within the adult seat rather than completely covering it. I can't say in any way that the product was not as advertised.

We have a square toilet seat and this was the closest one that we could find but is fab and does the job! Not a perfect fit as I knew As it is a D shape seat and we have a square until but all round good.

Handy child friendly seat
This is a great idea for families as children feel more confident with a small seat. The only thing is that only the grown up seat seems to be soft close. The lid certainly isn't. However I am really pleased with it and it came very quickly.
