Seems sound
This is the kind of product that should be reviewed after a year's use, when its design and construction will have been proved. It is well balanced and does the intended job - lead bossing. Looking at the design, one might have thought that the handle and its mating hole in the head would be made oval, to prevent rotation should the haft shrink, which can be a problem with designs of this kind. That would be more expensive to manufacture however. Time will tell. it looks carefully made.

Great bossing mallet for a have-a-go beginner
The mallet has been great for having a go shrinking and stretching both aluminium and steel. Working with 1mm sheet, the face of the mallet is a little marked up but it doesn't effect the performance of the tool.
