Shark Ion RV720 Robot Vacuum
I cleans well, but the remote will not let me change its direction. I have to babysit it all the time, because it will get stuck. I don't mind it though because I am home all of the time, but for someone that wants to set it to clean when they are not around, I don't think will be satisfied, because they'll come home and find it stuck somewhere. If you clean it out more often, it would be easy to clean. I made the mistake of waiting until it used the whole charge, and has a tough time cleaning it. It was of course the first time I used it. Good suction. Annoying squeak.
The machine performs well, particularly on MAX. Good run time - as much as 2 hours on normal clean. It has developed a squeak, almost like a cricket. If I remove and clean the brush, lube with dry lubricant and reassemble it goes away for awhile. Magnetic barrier is not convenient to use. Worth the money
I have owned a few of these devices and hope to help someone with this information. If your home isn't set with floors that are the same level, meaning if there is a transition that may change from one height to another, the Shark is the ONLY one I have found that can muscle over these challenges. I am not making this statement without basis as I own a iRoomba, DeeBot, EcoVacs and Bobsweep presently all of which I plan to give away at some point. This information has cost me about $1000 to obtain and I pray that it helps someone before spending money to find out that what they purchase will not perform the task it was purchased for. Con: This is my second Shark as the first one after a year would stop immediately after leaving the dock and after several attempts at trying to fix it with the help of YouTube videos I could not get it to operate properly. I chose to not contact Shark after looking at several reviews which led me to believe I wouldn't have a satisfactory outcome based on the companies handling of the customers I read reviews from.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
