Stops the chair scratching the floor
Very happy with these, saved my freshly painted black floorboards being scratched by my rise n recline armchair (which had already happened so had to re paint that part) they make it easy for chair to be moved /slid across the floor. they are bigger than i thought they would be but that's good, i was a bit worried the space for feet to sit would be smaller too as it said for castors, i thought maybe it would be more of a rectangle slim groove but it isn't, its a nice size square shape, so the round feet/stoppers of my chair fit nicely, there is some dents already due to the heavy weight of the armchair as they are quite heavy chairs, just hope they are strong enough not to split, but they were a good cheap price, would recommend them

You get what you pay for - they're not very substantial
I had read previous reviews for this product - as it was cheap and so I decided to try it for myself. The cups are 'large' in diameter, which is what I needed, but they are very, very shallow. They are padded on one side, which helps stop them sliding across the carpet / flooring. I've put them under chair legs on carpet. Because they're so shallow, the chair legs slip out of the castor cups with just the slightest movement of the chair. It's actually quite difficult to set them up in the first place and once they're there I wouldn't sit on the chair as I'm convinced at least one will slip - possibly causing the chair to topple too. As the chair is in a spare bedroom, I'm just going to remove them whenever anyone uses the room (not often) and put them back to protect the carpet when the room is not in use. Great cups for protecting wood/vinyl/laminate floors!
Good quality furniture cups. They have a recessed groove to hold furniture feet in place (be sure to centre feet into these otherwise they slip out when moving furniture). The felt/carpeted underside of cup acts well in protecting wood/vinyl floors and makes gliding furniture across floor easy. Defo recommended!
