It is significanly better quality than I was expecting. The design means I can insert the 'snake' without damaging the porcelain. It's length is adequate to clear the pipe to the SVP connection so should be plentry long enough. Works and is simple - just like me!

It is too long, found it too hard to control even to get it into the toilet bend before even trying to crank the handle. You probably have to be an experienced plumber to successfully use. Wish I hadn’t bought it, perhaps a shorter length would have been better for a novice

This looks like a well made piece of equipment. I tried using it on 2 toilets which are of different designs and it worked on neither of them. It seemed that it just kept going upwards thereby getting lodged into the uppermost part of the bowl by the cistern, rather than following the bends. I am not going to fault this auger completely because I have tried other augers, with the same results.
