Great size box
Great size for storing tools/batteries/charger etc. Foam columns easy to remove to ensure a snug fit for contents, leaving a single layer of foam at the bottom. Note that you can only seem to remove a complete column of foam i.e. you cannot make different columns shallower than others. Pay cheap get cheap !!!!.
The box looked good until I opened it and a crucial piece of plastic was broken off were the main metal hinge clamps to keep it closed. Couldn’t be bothered with the hassle to send it back so glued it back on. Learnt my lesson pay proper price for a new good quality one next time. Part of an Effective System of Toolboxes ...
Robust, stackable (by way of a clip securing system) and practical for both storage and carrying. I use these toolboxes as part of the T Stak system for my tools. It's an extremely useful system protecting what they contain, making it easier to locate things and suitable moving tools and accessories of all kinds. The tool case is well-constructed with sturdy clips and handles, making it ideal for heavy loads. However, while the plastic material is strong, its IP45 rating might not be sufficient for my needs. T stack boxes
I have a number of T stack boxes, all bought separately from the tools then adapted to fit my use and purposes. For that they are great. Why only 4 stars out of 5 then? The lids! They only just balance in the open position when the case is laid flat on a level surface. Slightly tilted or a soft breeze and the lids fall shut, a pain. Great product!
This is a brilliant quality storage case, it came with a moulded insert to hold impactor/drill/charger which might be handy for some but I wanted a basic case for storing drill accessories and other tools which this case was perfect for when as the insert is removable (handy for holding bits in the garage). The clasps looks very sturdy, and unlike the Makita boxes (easy to crack) these boxes can be sat on making a very useful seat onsite (probably not a design aspect but good to know!)
