Hexeal, bicarbonate of soda - one of my treasured finds on EBay!
I’m not a business of any type, just a newly retired woman with health issues who wonders how I managed to keep my home in a reasonably fit state while working professionally for 43 years and raise a family. I’ve found Hexeal to be a very efficient company on delivery and quality product. I have multiple uses with laundry (softens the water and helps make detergent more efficient and economical), great for degreasing greasy plug holes and a fabulous addition to some family secret recipes (especially Mother’s sultana scones!). Perfect remedy
OK. Here's the score...For years i have taken every prescription medication available via the NHS for acid indigestion, heart burn, gerd etc....Someone told me if i take a hit of 5 ml teaspoon of bicarb in hot water it would neutralise the acid... Yeah right i thought.... Then the thought occurred to me, to buy a small 100g Borwick's container of it and try it. After all, it was £1-30.. I'd spent almost £8- per month on prescription meds and £20- on Rennies.... OMG i could not believe it... After taking the bicarb, i felt a bit bloated for a minute, then i beeped a lot for a few minutes, but i slept a full 8 hrs for the first time in years... The burping was acid being converted into gas and expelled.... I found i was going through a 100 g per week and then discovered this 5 KG bucket for around about £11- over a year ago... I wondered if the quality was the same as Borwick's, but thought for an £11- quid purchase, it was worth the risk.. Bicarb is Bicarb, no matter the branding and it's just the same product....Iv'e just bought my second bucket from the same supplier and it now costs me £11- per year as opposed to nearly £400- per year to neutralise my acid and sleep at night.... so many uses
There are so many uses for bicarb around the home cleaning and removing odours. I use a lot and the little tubs you buy at supermarkets are not enough. A versatile and effective natural product.
Sodium Bicarbonate has so many different uses - in particular I always use it in the washing machine as it gives a lovely softness to the fabrics (we live in a very hard water area), and it is also excellent for brightening up whites. I also use it for cleaning, especially in conjunction with lemon juice for cleaning kitchen surfaces, and cleaning oven surfaces which are not self-cleaning. The freshest and purest baking soda.
I have tried many different sodium bicarbonates over the past ten years and can honestly say that Hexeal Chemicals is the freshest, purest (-and longest lasting) that I could find anywhere. The 5kg bucket has a seal on the lid, and as you are buying this with no "middlemen", it can be exopected to have a shelf life of at least a year if not longer. Most importrantly, don't expose the tub to dampness when open, as clumping may later result. I use this for most cleaning/ washing machine (this gives a service wash with each load)/ health and also dental protocols. Freshness and purity are essential if ingesting in water. Food Grade Bicarbonate of Soda
Being a food grade Bicarb it's a great way to buy Bicarbonate of soda, much cheaper than buying little tubs from the supermarket. My wife uses it for cooking & cleaning all sorts of things around the house.. When it's teamed with white vinegar for certain jobs it's a great alternative. I use bicarbonate of soda either by itself for cleaning out the fridge, microwave and similar or mixed with other products for washing clothes. We use it for cleaning, great value. Would prefer a plastic free refill but for now we reuse the pots as small ponds in the garden for wildlife. I expect these goods are of good value
I expect the quality of the product to be excellent as it’s a simple chemical. But the courier they use is useless. They say they can’t deliver because I am not at home when I am.
