Please exercise caution with this product as it might not be suitable for all dogs
I had high hopes for this product as I didn't want to subject my healthy 12-year-old Spanish Podenco dog to having his teeth cleaned under anaesthetic because of his age. I read a lot of reviews about the product all seemingly good and as I've always treated my dog with homeopathic and natural products whenever possible this seemed like the perfect product for my dogs ageing teeth. However approx 5 hrs after having one measure sprinkled on his food he started shaking violently I was asleep he was on the bed he tried to stand up fell off the bed lost the use of his back legs and was then violently sick. Fortunately he seemed ok after being sick but I have read some reviews where people have lost their pets as they've never recovered from these seizures. With regards to my dog. He did seem very thirsty after being sick but appears to be ok but I am monitoring him . He is quite a sensitive soul he can be a little nervous and has quite a sensitive stomach which might have caused the reaction although he's never had any special treatment for it just a sensible diet, but please please despite the wonderful reviews out there be cautious and vigilent . I could have lost my dog last night so please exercise caution. What suits one dog will not necessarily suit another if you have any doubts please talk to your vet about it although that is becoming increasingly muddied as their focus seems to be all about profit these days.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's a must AND does work!
I was sceptical but was encouraged by other reviews. Our Working Cocker Spaniel had real bad yellow tartar on his teeth even though given good quality dry food that he needs to crunch. Within days, we saw an mild improvement but went on to see a mass improvement after a further two or three weeks. My advice is to shop about as you can get some good deals. The last ones I bought were the smaller of the tubs but by buying three to get the same amount as the single larger one worked out pounds cheaper. You will be disappointed when it arrives as you think that it's not going to last two minutes. However, the scoop is tiny and it lasts a long time. An easy way to keep your dog's teeth clean
I've used Plaque off for some years now as my rather elderly dog would not allow me to brush her teeth. This product means I can simply add asmall amount to her food, once a day, and she is fine. Reduces tartar in dogs who don't tolerate tooth brushes!
Vet recommended this for our elderly spaniel. You can see it does soften tartar on teeth so if she does need to have them done by the vet, it will be a lot easier. Natural product too. If I'd had her from a pup using this product think her teeth would have been in a much better condition.. Freshens dog breath

Helps with Dogs Teeth
Although dogs teeth and breath sometimes are past treatment ( apart from removal ), I thought I would give this a go on our 9 yr old Greyhound, who, believe me has Devils breath!
