Good for day trips
I’ve been trying some battery banks over the years, and they are developing. This one works well with iPhones, the included pouch is nice as a removable bumper and for carrying extra cables, it has the all-important overcharge protection, and lasts a day of more of heavy use while still fitting in your pocket. And as long as you have a good wall plug available it works very well. Inserting the plug into an iPhone doesn’t wake the battery, you have to press a button, but that’s the worst. But I’ve tried to charge it with a solar panel, and not only does it need direct sunlight to charge anything at all, if a shadow comes in the way it’ll stop changing and not charge again until it’s restarted with a button press. And that’s not workable. So for the solar charger I use other batteries. It also has no through charging, Anker says it would wear out the battery, and that could be true if it really did so through the battery. But what is really asked for is a more advanced controller that could mix power sources and charge external batteries before it charges its own. Which is less maintenance for the user. So with certain minor caveats, this is a good product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Anker power bank
Bought this item to rechaŕge out phones when we go camping. Sinple and easy to use and the power indicator lights are handy. I tested it at home and it charged my samsung from flat to 100% in just over an hour. The power bank still shown 4 lights for charge so shpuld be gopd for 3 full charges.
