    Easy to use

    A third extra free is a welcome bonus. Applying the paint is straight forward enough, it goes on well and dries reasonably quickly, although it’s not a ‘quick drying’ paint. Used cheap disposable brushes when applying.as not realistic to clean brushe after use. It isn’t thick enough on the initial cost to smooth out a surface so some prepping may be required depending on the desired finish you want.

    Been using hammarite for years normaly good but not on this occation.

    I bought 2 tins of red that was fine went on lovely and smooth.And a couple of weeks later i bought a tin of black i did a bit of painting with it i had stirred it well and it seemed to go on very thick i used about 2 inches out of the tin pushed the lid down tight .Then i had another bit of small painting to do with it and there was a thick skiin on the top that was 2 days later i think there was not enough thinners put in or the air was getting in the tin.So next time i use it i will have to buy a tin of thinners.     Great quality stuff

    Used on my pull-up bar which has suffered the weather, rust was starting to form and i was worried it would be ruined. The base was originally grey but that didn't matter, one coat went on perfectly, it's very thick stuff but leaves a great finish. Hoping this will help my setup last longer.

    Best Paint in the World

    Often imitated but never surpassed. I have been using hammerite paint for 50 years and it is still the best protective paint you can get that has this unique hammered finish with no brush stokes when dry. When I was 17, I even handpainted my rusty old 1959 mini and it looked great - well, I thought so anyway!

    does what it says

    This stuff does what it says on tin, prepare your surface thoroughly and then just paint on, it dries quick and spreads easy. Its great for car chassis and engine bay if you have creeping tin worm, stops it in its tracks. Just brush it on and go - job done
