This is a perfect size for the top of a cooking hob. Cooks perfectly with an even heat. For those who say their food sticks to cast iron. That's because they haven't seasoned the product properly. You need to use oil when cooking as well. If you follow these rules you'll have something that is non stick and easy to clean. This product is astounding for the price. This is not cast iron.
This is not heavy cast iron. This is light weight pressed steel with a non stick coating. This has been miss described and I can't understand why all the reviews say it is cast iron. I can only assume the item has been changed/down graded since the reviews were left, which reflect the original cast iron product. Great griddle plate but season well before use.
Great griddle plate. As long as you season it well before use it is non stick and I would recommend turning the food every 3 mins or so. I would also say wash in hot water only with no or very little detergent. I have had a cast iron frying pan for over 30 years and I only use hot water to clean it. Not as advertised
Beware - this product is not cast iron . It is a lightweight metal with a coating of some description. Have used it once on BBQ to cook a chicken on and unfortunately despite a thorough soak and clean the coating has disappeared and it is now unusable. first thing it’s definitely not cast iron This is thin griddle pan It bends on a hot gas ring not ideal .
