Excellent product
Makes it so much easier when I have to either remove the cap on my off-line chlorinator to replace tabs or to replace the cap. Heretofore, sometimes I had to use a block of wood and a rubber mallet - this tool is great. Here's my tip to make it easier to hold in your hand: I added 2 fairly thick sections of Styrofoam (cut to match the length/width of the handle) and duct taped them to sandwich the item's plastic handle to get a good grip when tightening or unloosening the chlorinator cap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

You get what you pay for!
I had purchased five of these o rings and upon receiving them, I immediately installed the first one. In little over a week, that first one warped out and I had to replace it. Both times, I liberally applied the lubricant, as recommended. Now it's only been two days since I installed the second one, and it's already giving me problems opening and closing the lid. The quality of the o rings are poor, to say the least. I would've been better off to pay the price for the good ones!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wrench does the job--BUT--- . Yes, It opens the top of the chlorinator just fine. My only concern is its life expectancy. It is plastic (makes sense around the chlorine)--BUT is it a bit overly flexible and light weight. For now---I think it is great. How many seasons will it last??? Hooking in to my system wasn't the easiest. I had the smaller version and it was a pain to add tablets. This one is way easier to check and refill. Exact replacement after 30 years.
I bought this Clorinator to replace a CL 200 that I had been using for over 30 years. The New one fit right into the same space as the old one no problem.
