It does exactly what you need it to: hold your guitar securely. Will it overwhelm you with quality? Not at all. Plastics and rubber are cheap, but that won't make me hesitate putting my priceless guitar on it. Got mine for about $13 with free shipping, and not 1 complaint. My local music store has stands for $25. Sure, materials are much better and quality is higher but what do I need to spend a fortune on a guitar holder as long as it works. Go for this one!

Ordered a three-part guitar stand: #1. The tripod base, #2. the swiveling "fork" holding the guitar's body and #3. the upper bent tube, where the guitar's neck is secured with the rubber band. They vendor remained silent, no communication for 5 days, then all of a sudden it said they shipped it. It arrived surprisingly fast in 2-3 days tops, BUT, the 3rd part was missing from the package. I started a "send me the missing part or return/refund" case and in about 8 hrs they had refunded the money and let me keep the (albeit) useless item. Obviously a bad experience, but at least they were honest and did not give me a hard time with the refund. What's interesting is that there was no communication from them at all. Like a ...silent company. Did some research, they are a surplus liquidator somewhere in Ohio, so basically they buy ..."leftovers" (returns, defective, unclaimed layaways, etc.) and sell them on ebay. Still, buying from them seems like a hit or miss. You never know if what they send you is going to be EXACTLY the parts you ordered. Moving on, thanks eBay!Read full review

Decent stand at a good price. Will it survive a tour? Well, it's not a road stand and I don't see it surviving that kind of punishment but, it's great for rehearsal rooms, teaching and sound studios, the living room and that local bar/club gig. It's a solid and well made stand for it's price point and yes, I would recommend it. I'm very happy with this purchase and the stand is being put to good use in my teaching studio and local band gigs.

Bought this for my nephews 14th birthday and he loved it! Fit his electric guitar perfect. Only thing I would fix/change is the bottom guitar holder. It’s like a skeleton key hole and once you get it in you flip it over so it won’t come back out. An actual twist knob would be so much better, but works wonderfully!

Stand arrived with one insignificant scratch in the black paint of vertical support. Otherwise, it is pretty stable and does the job at a reasonable price. It folds up to take up less room width wise. Assembly or disassembly is easy and quick.
