Not loaded with unnecessary features, but stunning sound from a compact package
Stunning sound from a legend of the music industry. This may not be the version 3, but I have no complaints whatsoever. Delightful little details like the led level illumination around the volume, bass & treble knobs. Love the white colour way-a lot less imposing than the more common black….especially in a domestic setting. It’s also quite compact, so the depth of sound continues to impress massively. Bluetooth streaming works fine with or without the app, plus you get a 2x RCA & 3.5mm jack input options. The only downside for some will be the onset of distortion right at max loudness, but you’re being a bit antisocial if that’s an issue! Plus it only has a two phone capacity. All that said, I absolutely love it. I wanted something that is portable, has Bluetooth and sounds good. It does all of that and exudes its rock heritage whilst doing so.

The sound quality is very good especially the bass. It is easy to set up, you don't need instructions. My only complaint is that you have to have an up to date android device to use the app although it is not completely necessary if you don't mind getting up each time you need to adjust a control. I have a Bose sound bar and that comes with a very good remote control which I can control my other devices with, all except for the Marshall speaker. Why don't Marshall do that. You can't even have the app on Windows. Otherwise a good speaker.
