The cost of home printing
The hugely devalued pound since Brexit makes imported goods very expensive, including already costly printer inks. Changing cartridges also required two print head clean cycles. I have since then printed about 15 mono and colour pages, and the black cartridge is showing 50% used. When a set of cartridges costs more than £70, that is a HUGE cost per page. Genuine is best
I find that genuine inks give the best results. I have tried non genuine and have had lots of problems, the printer does not like them, you can't tell when the ink is nearly finished, the colours differ and the qualities not as good.
