It Does the Job
I bought this adaptor because I wanted to use my electric cool box in a hotel rather than in my car. I like the fact that the flex was long enough to stand the box on the floor under the desk in the hotel room. It functioned well and reliably with no problems for a solid four days with no overheating. I have no problems recommending it to anyone else. It does the job.

Poor wiring connection
Connection on socket got very hot when switched on for first time,on examination discovered very poor soldered joint, hat to repair before further use !

Kettle style C14 plug to feed female cigarette lighter fitting
I needed it to fit to my disability scooter with C13 kettle plug I rewired, works now to charge phone and plug through a fuse box to C14 and heated seat cover, all waterproof and heat my heated vest via USB!
