Better than a vaccum!
I've been using Bissell Sweepers for years not just because they save energy but because they're convenient and easy to use. Just sweep and your done! I originally had the Bissell Natural Sweep which was brilliant. I then moved onto the Bissell Supreme Sweep which was ok but wasn't as effective in collecting everything in one go as the Supreme Sweep and it didn't last as long. The Bissell Sturdy Sweep is compact, sturdy and works like a vaccum. It's also easy to clean. It doesn't take up much space and because it's so compact, it gets right into the corners. Having brush heads at every angle means it picks up everything. It's very impressive for it's size. I'm 5' 8" and the handle is a decent length that doesn't require bending done to sweep. Great time saving device for quick use.
This floor sweeper is very good for use in tween vacuuming as other people have said previously. I've only used it on carpet so far and found it great in picking up crumbs. It's easy to assemble and to use. However, I do wish I had ordered the one that can sweep edges. I can't remember my mum ever going without out a carpet sweeper and now here I am doing the same. Love this kind of sweeper, forgot though for many years and then looked for an alternative for a heavy Hoover. Saw this on eBay and remembered how easy they were to use, found this one at a very reasonable price and got it within a couple of days. They seem to work better now and I love mine! Good for sweeping up crumbs around the tea table.
This is one of those old fashioned carpet sweepers which you push along and does not use electricity. It comes neatly packed in a cardboard box with the handle packed as a set of sections which you have to screw together. This is a bit fiddly, but you only have to do it once. The sweeper and the dust trays are made of metal, but the wheels are plastic. It is easy to empty and picks up pet hairs and crumbs easily which saves having to get the noisy vacuum cleaner out which will waste electricity just to sweep up a few crumbs round the tea table. This sweeper is quite small and will go under chairs. Despite being small and toylike, it works well. Saves Time and Struggle
Wasn't too sure about this but remembered that my Mum had one of these years ago, so thought I'd give it a try. So glad that I did for it's amazing. It's so light and it picks up fluff and grit without any trouble. It saves all of the effort of having to get the vacuum cleaner out every time there's something that's been brought in by the kids, (dried mud, stones etc..) It means that I can now keep the place clean for longer between having to drag the vacuum out. Bissell Carpet Sweeper. It works so incredibly well and is so easy to empty. Bex Bissel Carpet Cleaner
Am very happy with my Bex Bissel, it is a little smaller than they used to be but nevertheless it does the job well. I can go through my bungalow in less than 10 minutes as a tidy up in between weekly hovering. Handy and effective
Really pleased with my sweeper, I was worried that it would not pick up dog hair but it is performing well. It doesn't get everything first time but go back and forward a couple of times and it gets (nearly) all of it up. And my dog has particularly soft dark hair that clings to the carpet.
