interesting fan for people who love analytics
It's hard to give value to something like this that is unique on the market. Yes it's a fan, yes it's very expensive, BUT it does a excellent job not creating irregular circulation as advertised. I placed mine up high in my room to circulate the hot air in my bedroom where I have cathedral ceilings. It does a fantastic job keeping the air a steady temp without noticing a draft that is normally associated with a ceiling fan.
The app is very cool (no pun intended) The auto setting kicks on when someone's cooking in the kitchen. I find it interesting that it's sensitive enough to catch small changes in air quality.
If I were to buy this again, I'd probably purchase the cool version only. The heating element uses roughly 1300-1500 watts when active with an initial spike of 1800 watts when turning on the element. once it meets the temperature, the fan speed goes to 1 and you can't change it unless you turn off the heater. The hp04 can not control the heating element via app(you can turn off the element). It also shuts off after 8 hours and you have to manually turn the heater on via physical remote or via physical touching the fans heating button. The older hp02 allowed the heater to be controlled and scheduled via the app. So for me, who controls the fan primarily via my phone, it makes the heating element useless.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with the filtering capabilities and the apps ability to give particle information.
I would give it 5 stars if it had heating options in the app and was under 500.
