I mean, compared to many current games — this one holds up well — and I’ve even put FFVII:rebirth, Baldur’sGate3, and Cyberpunk2077 on ice for now to play Nier: Automata! Combat is gratifying… even better than Stellar Blade I’d say (which borrows heavily from Nier)!

Nier Automata GotY Edition
The only flaw keeping me from giving this package 5 stars, is all of the added content is via download code. If Square Enix had put all the dlc on the disc, it would be perfect. Still one of my fav games, and a solid value overall.

An extraordinary experience from start to finish.
Yoko Taro knocked it out of the park with the story here. It is full of both intense and somber moments. If you are a fan of the Nier series, you need to check this game out. You won't be disappointed.

Although a little unusual from the third person/top down games I've played because it switches between these two views on the fly it's still fun and engaging. Hard difficulty curve to master though.
