Great Family KAIJU series
Colorful and imaginative. Originally made for japanese children this series is a lot of fun especially for young girls. Ironically the movie also appeals to many adults due to its charming use of effects and it's Godzilla spin off characters. Geared towards children
I wasn't aware when I bought this set that the movies were geared towards your average 9 year old. I dearly love a cheesy B monster movie, but these were a bit disappointing to me. They may improve on a second watching. They have all the characteristics of a cheesy B monster movie: bad special effects, plot holes you could drive a bus through, and truly astounding overacting, but these, like some of the millenial Toho Godzilla movies, have a strange "spiritual" side plot that is hard for me to follow. This could be due to cultural differences, but I find the New Age element as disturbing as if Mothra suddenly attended a tent revival (although Monsters Do Gospel has great potential as a movie). Overall, I'd recommend sticking to the mid 20th century Mothra movies.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

For the movie buffs that like all the Godzilla style movies. This is a really good set of Mothra movies. It will be like going back to your chidhood when the Monsters were on Friday night or Saturday. When Mothra and the others reigned. So just get it and get your popcorn, soda and candy. Fantastic Blu-ray
The Blu-rays are amazing! The discs and case are in fantastic condition. The films look great in full HD. The only gripe I have would be that it doesn't come with a digital copy most of these Godzilla collection Blu-rays have. Other than that, I love the Blu-rays and recommend getting them if you're a Godzilla or Mothra fan.

The rebirth of Mothra trilogy
Finally the mothra trilogy has properly been released on Blu Ray with English dub or Japanese with English sub. The first movie is pretty good. The second film not so much.
