Oscar performance movie
I bought this to add to the Greta Gerwig collection I now have. But Natalie Portman’s authentic portrayal is fantastic. Like many I knew little of Jackie Bouvier. Gore Vidal helped. I particularly liked the soundtrack and the interview with the South American director. Did NP win an Oscar .? should have.

I usually love this sort of film, but I have to admit I switched if off before finishing. I found it too slow paced and just a bit boring. Considering the subject, I didn’t expect that. DVD in good condition etc.

The real Jackie?
I Love true life's/Biographies, that show the true character, of a person, & what they have to contend with. An uncorny, view of the real woman. The world was fascinated by her, & she did what she had to do. But, before that, we see her coping, with the death of her husband.

This film is about Jackie’s reaction to and handiling of the situation immediately after JFK’s assasination. She comes across as a strong character. It is not ( as i mistakenly thought) about her whole life.

A missed opportunity
This film pressed all the right buttons but then had nowhere to go,they should have included jackies later marriage to aristotle onassis and made it more interesting,instead it's just the jfk assassination it's aftermath and an interview with jackie
