    U-Verse compatible remote control

Works as designed. Controls U-verse dvr box and programmed well to my Visio soundbar.

  • Most critical review

At&t RF remote doesn't work well.

Transmits about 6 feet. Will not even go into the next room. Don't wast your money. I then bought a Inteset IR extender set and it works beautifully. I think it cost about $39.00. Well worth it. I now use the TVs remote to turn the TV off and on and change the volume. I use a U-Verse remote with the Inteset IR extender to do everything else. It works great. If you don't have a spare U-verse remote, you can buy one on e-bay for about $5.00.

  • The remote should never have been offered for sale

The item had been used. When I receive there were very corroded batteries inside. After removing the batteries and removing the corrosion I tried to program the remote. We After follow the instructions several time some Of the features work for a shot time then you have to reprogrammed all over again

  • Don't buy one of these

Purchased because we wanted to put the cable box in the cabinet. Spent hours trying to program so it would operate my Samsung TV with no success. Barely reliable and would only work every now and then and only if you held the remote at just the right angle; puzzling since it's supposed to be an RF remote. After 4 hours of trying to get it to work, I put it in the drawer, moved the cable box to a less-obvious location, and went back to using the regular remote. Don't waste your money on this. If you absolutely have to have RF, try Xfinity or go buy a Logitech.

  • Moderately Good Remote

The remote only works moderately well. One time you may point the remote towards the tv and it works as it is suppose to. The next time you point it towards the tv and it doesn’t. When this happens I have found that pointing the remote straight up in the air with the small hole on the back under the model number towards the tv, it usually works as it is suppose to.

  • point anywhere ?

Extremely hard to program. Have to hold it a certain way and point it exactly to the thing I had to install to get the remote to do anything. Volume control is the only button that works without a problem.

  • It doesn't work if you point it "anywhere".

You have to point it at the cable box and it's pickier that I expected it to be. I mounted my TV on the wall with the cable box behind it. It is often non-responsive, like it goes to sleep or something. Still better than the IR remote in my configuration.

  • Waste of money

Doesn't work as advertised. Cannot program it to adjust volume or enter hi def channels numerically. Very frustrating... we had an ATT tech here for another issue and he couldn't program it properly. He basically said it was a piece of ####!

  • ATT Point anywhere remote

I have the ATT Uverse VIP2500 Wireless receiver and a pretty new 40" 4K samsung TV. The remote works to change channels, but I can't get it to turn the TV on/off, adjust volume and change the channels. I've tried all the programming steps and it just doesn't work. I have to assume this is an old stock item, perhaps not configurable with some newer TV's?. The batteries in the remote had a 2016 date code which means this thing is pretty old.

  • Does not work "anywhere"

After programming, the remote only works if pointing directly at the TV. The receiver is in a built in cabinet and does not work any different with the door closed versus open. Also there is not a button to change the input - the "TV/Video" button doesn't change the TV input.
