Early days so no view on durability, but seems well made and put together. Easy to connect the sensor unit and the display unit; good connection with the sensor unit on a stake in the middle of a field 75mtrs from the house. Mounting sensor to the stake fiddly, fixings provided imagine a perfect world of flat surfaces or perfectly round metal poles; reverted to age old solution of bloody big screws and brute force/bad language.

As a standalone unit it is a good choice, but if you want to use it with anything else, it isn't' capable. Although nicely made throughout, you cannot assign this using an IP logger or setup via the console. It's a massive flaw in this system as every other IP PWS does this. So this is really no more than a nicely made starter amateur rookie weather station simply because it lacks a vital feature. Yes, you can assign it to an online system, but that's all you can do. Shame, as it would have been the best one on the market. Wait for the MkII when they have the hardware to support the de facto standards in in place. The so called HD screen is a static screen and does not display anything else, it is not a dynamic screen, which again I feel falls short at this price level. Also note that this unit is branded by any supplier, which means it is available by other brands. This is an expensive bit of kit, and even cheap ones will give you better support.Read full review

As a stand-alone weather station, (no wi-fi connection, link to phone, other local weather stations, forecasts etc), it is exceptionally easy and straightforward to set up. There are paper instructions, simply install batteries in display and station, plug in display and hey presto, display shows UK date and time, (BST), and station was automatically paired. (The instructions do say that in future when outside batteries are changed, the reset button needs to be pressed to enable pairing, but that wasn't needed during initial set up. Worth noting, the reset button on the station itself isn't very obvious, I'm keeping the instructions as a reminder of where to find it!) The display is fairly clear with choice of fixed or auto brightness, can be wall or stand mounted, with a simple USB type C connection which was supplied with UK plug adapter.Read full review

Edit - the unit stopped working within the guarantee period and I got my money back. (Some months after I wrote this review). The top of the range Youshiko YC9391 Weather Station produces accurate data in all areas when measuring rainfall, wind and temperature. The effect of the sun on the 7 in 1 sensor mounted on the roof does not make the outdoor sensor read high as it has done on my previous stations, such as my previous Oregon Scientific Weather Station. The rain gauge on the Youshiko YC9391 tips early and indicates with the smallest amount of rain. The unit has been service three days (purchased July 2020) and so far the minimum rainfall recorded on the display is 0.2mm. On day one I recorded 2.7mm of rain. There is no need for a computer to be switched on to upload weather station data to Weather Underground or Weather Cloud, which is a plus point in my opinion. The unit can be set up (and calibrated if necessary) through WiFi. The panel transmits a visual setup display and characteristics via your home WiFi Router to either an Android phone or tablet. It can also transmit the setup display and charactistics to a PC Browser - BUT ONLY IF THAT PC IS CONNECTED TO YOUR ROUTER VIA WiFi AND NOT CAT5. The manual is not very clear on this. The quality of the plastics are very good on the panel, the indoor thermometer and the (larger than I thought it would be) external 7 in 1 unit, which is now mounted on my roof 9m above ground.
