It works reasonably well so okay value, but the quality/brightness is not there
Very flimsy high voltage wires, not nearly as thick or rigid as shown in the picture. The tube is only bright(ish) at the centre, has the manufacturer economised on the number of LEDs as well as the wires? It does kill insects but I'm sure it would attract a lot more with a brighter light. Useless
After a couple of weeks use, not a single fly has been killed. We've tried placing it at different sites and different heights, but nothing works. There are plenty of flies around, but they're not attracted to the light in the slightest. If it killed just a couple of flies a day it would be just about worth keeping, but it doesn't even do that. It really is a poor product. (Under the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is not fit for the purpose it was sold for, you have the right to a full refund--and you don't have to pay for the return postage either.)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Main Points
I took this apart after a very unfruitful catch over a couple of continuous days. It runs directly on mains; no DC regulation - so its lack of power doesn't stem from a lack of supply. The sizable step up should definitely work, and the circuit is simple and well engineered. The quality stops there though; the metal is as soft as solder and the UV light doesn't measure on my UV meter. I suspect the issue if any is the choice of materials after the circuitry, and whilst there is plenty of room to upgrade it there is no incentive when you realise the just for cause design. Overall: The issue will be the tube and size of the coil - buy a more expensive one if you have a large room.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No need for unsightly fly paper.

Poor
It is not that something value I haven’t seen any fly or insect been trapped in or around. Very poor lighting. Sorry 😐. Over two weeks and the cable is very short the elements are far inside. And the cover is too thick so it is limiting the access.
