A sat nav with off device routing capability, and accepts coordinate inputs.
Whilst having built in satnavs in both our cars, both lacked the ability to readily plan a preferred route on a PC and one the ability to input coordinates, both features we like to have and the Garmin has. Plus, our aging older Garmin Sat Nav did not have lifetime map updates and being so old the newer roads etc where missing, so it was time to change. Buying a new Garmin with lifetime maps made finacial sense, and keeping with Garmin, knowing their system suited us well.
