Had another major brand vacuum before this, cost x3 as much. Quality and efficiency about the same. Cable is short can't do a full floor, despite mega long nozzle! Nowhere to store tools without them constantly falling off whilst vacuuming. Pick up good though on carpets and laminate, adjust the dial til it suits your floor. I have not used a upright hoover with everything on board for sometime as I have used a battery one which I felt it did not seem to have the power needed to pick up hairs off my cat I also tried a cylinder one of a good make but it was heavy and pulling it around could be awful. That is why I decided to try a upright again and up to now it as been very good it leaves my carpet looking as it should with no cat hairs, the only thing I could have done with was a extra few feet on the cabel, but it works well and I feel confident when I have used it that it as done a great job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
