Best hack ever for building a RAID without breaking the bank. I use these drives in my OWC ThunderBay 8. They perform wonderfully, and the 5 year warranty speaks to the long life that these drives have ahead of them. Been using them for about 6 months now with absolutely no issues. The write speeds in a Raid 0 configuration are faster than most of my USB 3.2 SSD's. I do have an added layer of security by backing up my raid with a service called Backblaze. The Only HD to Buy
HGST Ultrastar is the standard HD for data centers and businesses. It is durable and problem free, unlike Seagate and others. These traits were verified by a HD equipment testing company.
