Still searching for a fitting farewell.
Whilst the actual musical content is of a high standard, it is a pity that the packaging etc is a let down. Surely there could/should have been a better cover picture, it seems that no cost was considered! The track listing info re stereo/mono is sometimes incorrect, why not all stereo? The running order seems to be haphazard and omits some better later tracks in favour of too many from the early albums. For a group of the quality of the Searchers they deserved a better last hurrah than this!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Hits re-mastered and in stereo. Great booklet.
I have been replacing all the titles that I bought when CDs first came out, especially the 60s British groups. My old Searchers Greatest Hits CD was in mono for the most part particularly the early hits. I bought this collection because of the re-mastering of the songs and the fact that most of the collection is in stereo. So many hits sounding so much better. Great booklet included as well. As a fan from 1963 who thinks The Searchers have not received their due influential status in the history of British Pop music, this collection of their career highlights hopefully will bring new listeners and delight old listeners like me who are re-hearing their music.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
