I own approximately 5000 CDs and, in terms of musical quality, this ranks amongst the bottom 5. Dreadful, weak, uninteresting, drawn out soundscapes of utterly aimless, benign excrement would be more interesting than this. And I am a Metallica fan. I have been since around 1985 and first saw them live in 1986 and many times after. The artwork is coolly presented. This is worth owning to allow completeness in anyone's collection and doesn't detract in any way from the rest of Metallica's amazing recorded output.

I've always loved Lou Reed and I don't mind a bit of metal so this album didn't disappoint, it will not be everybody's cup of tea. My mate who is a Metallica fan was not impressed. I loved the first track, some of the other tracks are a bit deep and repetitive. It wasn't long after this album Reed passed, loss of a legend.

Probably the best Lou Reed album. Metallica adds extra value. Cheat On Me my favorite song.

Lou Reed's final LP. Loathed by Reed and Metallica purists alike. But what do they know? This is a GREAT album and shows Reed on top form.
