Presented in alternative box but well packaged with good box and photo cover. We are in the process of building it but so far all items being found. Internal packaging good too. Delivered in good time with good communication. So in essence.. I highly recommend this buyer to you.
This is the first Harry Potter Hogwarts, from 2001, and it has loads of features and minifigures. Being Lego, it is almost indestructable (apart from the laminated card roof parts, though these can be replaced with hinged plates like in the later 4842 model, and spares are available from second hand lego stores online). As all of the minifigures have yellow faces (apart from Snape with his 'glow in the dark' head), it is unlikely that they will be cheaper copies if they're included with the set.
Unlike later 'stand-alone' versions of Hogwarts, this one was designed to be adapted and added to with other sets from the range, by placing them below or above the various rooms, right through to placing the whole thing on top of the Chamber of Secrets set (4730), which makes it a brilliant base to build the most impressive Hogwarts available.
Currently great value, with prices likely to rise as sets become rarer.
