Very nice to use variable speed grinder
I bought about ten of the gws7 grinders because I really like the slim grip but they were really poor quality and only lasted a few months in a fabrication shop . I gave up with those and thought I'd try the gws9. This is a much better build quality, nice to have the speed control for different applications and a rubber flex that is about three metres long instead of the 5hite plastic "flex" that were fitted to the others . The only thing that is a bit disappointing is the disc lock button, it's looks like the sort of thing that would be fitted to a really cheap grinder , it sticks up too high and may well get easily broken . Also will most likely let debris into the gear housing . I have three of them now so I'll see how they hold up . My first Bosch grinder lasted me for twenty years . I'm not sure why they don't build these to last anymore but I'll be happy if these last for twenty months . All in all these seem like a nice grinder . The grip is slightly larger than the gws7's but still slim enough to use with one hand . Soft start is nice too. ( Although I prefer the old straight on version)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
