Stops leaves clogging up the gutter.
Works as well as branded ones. I put these on the guttering on my large shed which sits under a vast sycamore tree which covers my shed in leaves and seeds. The leaves still need clearing but at least they don’t clog up the gutter. I have also used the “hedgehog” bristle version which I think is better because no leaves get caught. To be fair these gutter guards are fine unless your gutters are directly under a tree in which case the hedgehog bristles work better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Potential problems with this mesh
This mesh is only 110 mm wide, and will sit low in wider gutters, in spite of its stated suitability. In such cases it can be expected to trap moss and leaves. I found the end clips hard to use in practice, eventually leaving most of them undone. A number of these clips were broken off, possibly by the courier dropping the pack on end. BEST GUTTER PROTECTION PRODUCT I HAVE FOUND
I found the gutter mesh rather difficult to fit as the roof tiles overhung the guttering a bit too far, but having said that, the mesh will probably withstand gale force winds better the the previous light weight mesh I had purchased elsewhere. This mesh seems quite sturdy and if fixed in place properly under the gutter clips will most likely prevent a lot of future gutter maintenance and clearing of moss. Each section clips together so it should have greater staying ability in high winds. I will be ordering more of this product for the rest of my guttering.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent product and value
Excellent product, just bought my third lot for another set of gutters. Easy to clip together and slide along the gutter so you do not have to ladder up for each few sections, keeps the leaves and moss out which was my main problem of blocked downpipes. Good quality inexpensive gutter leaf guards.
Easy to fit, although the guard is 110mm wide with a few "Sprung" grips along its length so it may not fit all gutters. Mine is an Ogee design and it fits well. The guards are however quite thin and flimsy but they are easy to cut to shape.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
