Great songs are not set in stone - since he burst from the blues clubs of Louisiana onto the global music scene with 1995's breakthrough first album, 'Ledbetter Heights', followed by his career-defining second album, 'Trouble Is...' in 1997, Kenny Wayne Shepherd has twisted those classic cuts into bold new shapes each night on the stage. Led by the pulse of the crowd, every last note alive in his hands, the 'Trouble Is...' tracks have always been on the move, never settling into museum pieces.

Additional InformationThe Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band celebrates the 25th anniversary of Trouble Is... by re-recording the album in its entirety., The Debut of the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Produced by Jerry Harrison.
firstly i have always thought that the original "trouble is..." cd was one of the best blues albums to come out, especially for someone like me who has been a lifetime lover of true blues artists music, when i heard that a 25th anniversary album was happening i thought it will be a live version of the old album, i was wrong on that, this album is pure quality and just shows what an exceptional band that Kenny Wayne and the boys are, every album they have done is quality and the feeling of blues shows just how much they want to play it all. i have only seen live dvds of them but i will be going to see them live whenever i can here in the uk.This album is proof of how a band after 25 years can still alter some parts but grab your inner feelings with classic blues sounds and awesome vocals and guitar (and keyboards and drums!!!). if you like these then also try Laurence Jones, who is to me the best blues guitarist ever from england, better than Eric Clapton and all the others, just check out his first ever song that he wrote, "thunder in the sky".. The best thing that could happen would be for Kenny and Laurence to get together and make an album or better still do a gig live together, record it and we all would buy it (and buy it again in 25 years too !!!)
