Great long lasting and dependable power whenever needed.
During a 31-hr power outage recently, we had and used our 12,300mah back-up charged battery to keep our cell phone communications going and iPad going, BUT that backup power source eventually ran down. After that outage decided we needed a 2nd back-up of even more power storage. This Anker unit, at 21,500mah fits that need. Now we have a total of 33,300 mah available whenever the need arises. Anger unit is physically small size, has dual USB ports, and the low price for high capacity is great. Be sure you compare and check the mah capacity of units as you shop and decide, as many units available out there are high priced with low capacity. Anker is a well known and quality product. Nice but incredibly slow charging.
This battery pack is built tough and is of high quality. The real problem is charging time. It took 10 hours to charge this thing. Not only does it take a long time to charge it but when using to charge other devices it's incredibly slow. Why? Because it isn't Qualcomm Quick Charge compatible. BEST POWER PACK!!!
I've tried so many power packs and the money I spent on power packs is ridiculous! My nephew bought one (his was bigger with 4 usb ports) and he praised how well it worked for he and his gf, that I just had to try. My job entails emergency evacuation and one day, I was assigned to do just that, and the power pack I had at the time, didn't help at all. Why? Well, because I hadn't used it and it was just sitting in my work bag, the battery packs power drained because I wasn't using it or charging it. So far, I've been testing this out by having it in my bag, (gummy charged) and not using it. The 4 dots had not gone down. Now testing it further, I charged my phone, (android) and my daughter's iPhone, as well as keeping it in my work bag without recharging it, and it still has the 4 dots. Emergency Backup
Took long time to fully charge but once charged seems to hold charge for long time when not in use. I use an iphone to take credit cards, also for internet contact for information searching, and that is very data and power intensive especially when phone is roaming for a signal. So far I have had no trouble recharging my phone when away from power and it is certainly better than running a car engine to recharge my phone thru a power outlet when I am out on a field doing a show. It is very welcome to know that I have emergency backup for iphone recharging. I bought the more expensive larger capacity charger. In for a dime, in for a dollar. Why cheap out and lose a sale or fail to get needed info off the net because my phone is out of power? I am very happy with the 20000mAh Anker charger and it is easy to use. After a couple of uses, it is very easy to see why this is the top rated power bank in almost every review I have read. It will quickly and easily charge my Samsung Note 8 over and over. It is a bit heavy, but what do you expect with a battery/power bank that can do this much ? This was absolute life saver during our vacation. With all the walking around and using our phones for a map, this power bank kept both our phones charged up all day, and all night. This is where the 2 ports came in handy. Great to have on the go for keeping those phones charged
Was this a referb? It looks brand new- box and all. It came packed and accessories in a box that all looked brand new. We have used it to keep phones charged during kids all day baseball tournaments. It's a little big and heavy compared to my Galaxy S5 but it's a battery pack. I liked this model because my wife and I could both get multiple charges and at the same time with the 2 USB ports. Charging it back up will take some time so keep it on the full side and you can just grab it and go when you need it. If you have multiple devices to keep charged keep this one in mind. If you need to keep it with you in a pocket- maybe go with a smaller one. Had a power outage a few days ago, got me to buy this product and dam it has quite some juice, it charged my ipad mini 3 and iphone 6s multiple times no problem. Sleek. Works nice. Lasts for ever. It charges my 12w iPad 2-3 times (maybe more, I haven't tried it) and smaller devices (mini, phones) multiple times . The two charging ports are plenty. The 4 charge level lights are small but informative. It's heavy - you'd have to plan for the weight on any multi-day trip into the woods; i.e. no power outlets available. But I bought it because it had sufficient capacity to re-charge my iPad. I found it needed an overnight charge to 'load' it in the first place. And it comes with its own charging cord to load it, which you have to remember to bring along if you're traveling for an extended period. But it definitely helps on air travel as you're not tethered to the few sockets, camped out around daisy chains of extension cords or excluded from one of the over used work stations. You're also not relying on the device's battery on those long flights. The weight is the primary drawback, but I assume that's what gives it the power.
