I purchased a Samsung TV model UE43CU8500KXXU recently. I thought it would be compatible with Freesat, but it isn't, it only works with Freeview so I had to return it. It does not have a satellite socket, only an aerial socket. Even Samsung support seemed confused and tried several times to try to make it work with Freesat and failed. The emphasis with this model appears to be streaming services and facilities with a Samsung account. Other than that the picture seemed good.
