I’ve rated my compressor 5 star, as I used to pump up tyres the old fashioned way with a foot-pump. I’m late 60’s now and wonder why the hell it took me so long to make the switch! The Hyundai 8 litre is easy to carry, easy to set up, albeit the power lead is a little on the short side. I now also have the option to buy other air tools as well. Yes I recommend this product!

I bought this product to charge my resin pressure pot, I have been using this all day and cannot believe how quiet. this is in use 59db. I have had a compressor in the past and that was noisy. The only small drawback is that the power cable is a little short, Also this gem fills my resin pot to 60psi in the blink off an eye. Very happy bunny. Thank You Hyundai. Mr R Smith Ipswich

I've been after a compressor for home use and have looked at many reviews etc. I settled for the Hyundai 8L super silent in the end having initially ordered a (much more expensive) Senco which failed to arrive. I was initially tempted by the every so slightly cheaper ( I mean a couple of quid) 'never heard of before' brands but was easily swayed to Hyundai by the warranty and having previously bought from them. As for the compressor its my first so I don't really have a benchmark but as an engineer I note the following. Yes it is very quiet. I have it on a low shelf in a fixed installation and it doesn't make much noise at all and doesn't vibrate much either. The rubber feet likely help with this. The safety valve is slightly different to how it is described in the manual. I contacted Hyundai and they replied within 24 hours explaining that it is a revised design (hence different) and the manual hadn't caught up. I was impressed with the speed of reply. The tank fills up in a minute or so and from day one I have had no leaks at all. If I turn off the compressor and leave for 8 hours there is hardly any pressure drop from the compressor or the hoses I have attached. It is fitted with a Euro connector which makes life easier. The drain valve is of good construction. The welds and paint job around the handle are not quite 100% but overall the finish is good. It worked out of the box with no issues. As others have mentioned, the mains lead could do with being longer. It is fitted with a UK plug.Read full review

Ok, so like many before me I read as many reviews on air compressors as I could to see what people thought and avoid disappointment. So I went for this 8 litre model. I only want an occasional compressor for blowing out debris and maybe inflating bike tyres and the like. I didn’t want some noisy thing either. YouTube has been quite useful TBH. Only got this today, it looks good quality, is VERY quiet, very portable (again what I wanted). Only has one outlet by the looks of it but that’s fine. I got the Hyundai 5 piece kit with it and that’s decent. Very pleased with it. The only thing I noted was the red on/off button was very stiff. I didn’t want to break anything so sprayed a little WD40 on it and it’s fine now. I put up a small shelf in the garage where the sockets are (waist height) because the lead is short, but it seems they all are. Read full review

Very quiet, great to use indoors, fantastic value, good warrently. Not a negative as such, but since it does not come with a regulator, there is no way to control the output pressure, and since I want to use it with an airbrush, I am having to get a seperate regulator and moisture trap. But since it is not sold, claiming it can be used out the box for painting, that just a consideration and not a complaint. It arrived well packed with a wooden base in the box and has a very reassuring quality to it.
