The TV Toshiba 24WK3A63DB was bought to replace an older flat screen TV with DVD used in the kitchen. The overall dimensions are neat and compact, lighter in weight than its predecessor. The set up was easy and the SMART features are running on wired CAT5 cable receiving fibre broadband speed from our modem. It's built in Alexa function is very useful and it was easy to pair with Alexa in our main reception room. Every morning going to the kettle for the first cuppa of the day, we just talk to the TV, EG. "What's the weather forecast today" it springs into life then defaults straight to our favourite radio station. Remote control functions are very clear and easy to use. Hard to find any negatives really as before once dinner is devoured we would converge in the main reception to use the SMART large TV functions but all are now at out fingertips in the kitchen making it a more pleasant experience and aids digestion along with those post dinner conversations. This is a fairly comprehensive smart tv package for the money. It is easy to set up out of the box and delivers good picture quality via the wifi apps and hdmi inputs. Sound quality is a concern however, it is not much better than a cheap radio, with little bass and some distortion even at low volumes. Cheap speakers really let down the package Although this is not uncommon at the price point, it is surprising on a Toshiba, given the quality of the 43 inch unit we have in another room. It is not a deal breaker however, as the bluetooth connectivity allows simple connection to an extrrnal speaker to overcome the problem.
