Author BiographyKaren Chilvers was born in Romford, Essex, in 1971, got a poodle called Cherie in 1972 and became a crazy dog (young) lady, becoming a crazy cat (older) lady in 1988 with tabby cats Yogi and Boo Boo. She combined the two from 1999 with dogs Gypsy and Nancy, Quincy, Louis & Bailey and cats Schnapps, Dillon & Daisy. She's single. She's cool with that.; Gill Eastgate was born in Edinburgh in 1971, as a child she wanted a pony but ended up with a rabbit. Stanley is her first dog who has since, quite simply changed her life. She lives in the suburbs of Edinburgh with Stan and her husband Ray, who is affectionately referred to as the 'Tzu Father' due to his 'tzu-like' beard.
