Not Any Brighter Than the 8 Year Old Original Bulbs!
I couldn't be more disappointed in this product. I replaced the original 8 year old bulbs in my Santa Fe, with these Silverstar Ultra. I was very excited to have better, brighter nighttime visibility. I initially replaced just one bulb, so I could see the difference versus the original bulb. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no discernable difference in brightness. There is a very slight difference in color (the Silverstar bulb is whiter), but the diffference is so small that it's barely worth mentioning. Considering the additional cost of the Silverstar Ultra - there is no value here. I'd suggest you choose a different product, I wish I had.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not a white light as described
I have desperately been looking for a bulb for my Kia Optima headlights, which I installed to replace the damaged HID headlamp assembly that came with my car. I hate the yellowish color with basic bulbs as well as the reduced distance the light projects. I first tried the Sylvania Silverstar bulb, which was still yellowish. I then installed the Silverstar Ultras because the item description says a "whiter light". Well, I may be a little color blind, but I know white and these are not white. It could be the reflectors in my car's headlamp assembly, but I am still going to try the ZXE's next before deciding to spend BIG money on new HID headlamps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Work very well down the road, even in snow!
I live in upstate NY and we've had a good deal of falling and blowing snow so far this year. When one of my low beams blew out, I was curious how bright white headlights lights would work with falling or blowing snow, thinking the reflection might be too bright and I wouldn't be able to see well because of the reflection. Actually there's no problem at all. And when there's no precipitation, they do shine down the road further than the standard headlights on my Hyundai Sonata did. I did not replace the high beams, keeping the standard high beams because they still worked. When I hit the high beams both these silverstar low beams and the standard high beams are on at the same time. The lighting is excellent, and I have no issues at all. I can see the yellowness of the high beams and the whiteness of the silverstar low beams, but that's only because I'm critically looking for the difference. I think these are really decent headlights and make things appear quite vivid. I won't replace my high beams until one goes out, but if/when I do I'll go with the silverstar lights.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sylvania Silver ULTRA H11b headlight bulbs
These lights really are a lot brighter than the originals. They are not the super-white, or blue-tinted, but just a nice bright light. I had used the Silverstar Ultra before in some of my past cars so I pretty much knew what to expect. I had these installed in my Veloster Turbo and couldn't wait till dark to see what they looked like. The light was much whiter, brighter, crisp, and seemed to reach farther out onto the sides of the car. Some people have criticized these bulbs for their longevity but I don't remember having any issues in the past so we'll have to wait and see with these.
