Good movie. Great group of actors.
I got a kick out of this remake. It had great actors and a good storyline. I even bought a copy for my dad that is almost 80. "what a dissappointment"
After seeing the original "magnificent seven' with yule brenner, steve mcqueen, robert vaughn and others I put the new magnificent seven in to the dvd player The original music on the first version is still played today...magnificent the music on this latest version was non existent the original had a believable plot...killing bully mexicans this latest version attacks the government of california and a bad white guy who represents that government....not so believable what is really ridiculous is hollywood's use of a black man holding positions of law maker texas ranger, lawman....whatever.....pure garbage. in the 1800's black men were RARELY in positions of law and order, needless to say a black man leading white people????? The new Magnificient Seven movie
The movie was enjoyable and entertaining. It was well cast and the direction was good. It was interesting to see the ethnic and social nature of the group. The use of minorities and social outcasts made the story interesting. It is not a classic like the original movie but definitely worth watching.
