This first edition Seiko Shogun SBDC007 is from Japan. Comes with box and papers. It predates the SBDC029, and has no X on the dial. This is desirable amongst collectors. Very small mark on crystal that I couldn't pick up on camera. It looks like a bit of the AR coating might have come off. There's the usual wear, but in good overall condition. Should fit 7.5" wrist and although it comes with 2 spare links, you will need to get some pins and collars to use them. Must have lost them.
I knew this watch would be a great product with it being a Seiko at this price point, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the watch actually is in terms of build quality and overall finish. It has exceeded my expectations and I have high standards when it comes to watches.
If you like dive watches I would doubt very much that you would be disappointed with this watch. It was also nice to find that although the case is listed as being 44mm in diameter, it definitely wears more like a 42mm in my opinion. I was a bit concerned that it may be a bit too big as it always looks big when you see images of it, but it is smaller than it looks, to me anyway.
All in all, it is a great watch from a very well established brand which has that timeless, classic divers' watch look which does not go out of fashion.
Quality watch that takes design elements from a few different watches, wears smaller than the dimensions and being titanium is lighweight and comfortable. Don't listen to those that say ti feels cheap because of the lack of weight, they just don't understand material properties. If you are into your seiko divers, this model won't disappoint.
The one I received has a perfectly aligned chapter ring and bezel markers.
